Learn the theory
Classes with us Monday to Thursday from 6:30 pm, plus practice questions in the app. Once you feel confident, you book your theory test.
Driving lessons
Quiet roads first, then city traffic, country roads, motorway and night driving. Always with feedback after every lesson.
Exam
First we do a mock test on routes in the test area. Then it counts, and you are ready.
Intensive driving course in Hilden. Focused learning.
We plan your training as a compact intensive course with theory and practical lessons in parallel. Around 14 days is a planning target, not a guarantee that you will obtain your licence within that time. You need an approved application, available lessons and test appointments, and individual test readiness.
A good fit if you
- have a fixed deadline, for example the start of an apprenticeship, job or university
- have two weeks free in a row, during school holidays, on leave or between jobs
- like learning intensively and want to build routine fast
- have had lessons before and finally want to finish

- work full time at the same time or are in the middle of school or university exams

Apply
Eye test, first aid course and passport photo, then the application at the road traffic office. Processing can take a few weeks. The course starts once your application is approved.
- Day 1–7
Theory and driving in parallel
Driving lessons during the day, theory in the evening. A maximum of two double theory lessons per day is allowed, so after one week you have covered everything. You practise the exam questions in the app.
- Day 8–10
Theory test and special drives
You take the theory test at TÜV. At the same time you do the special drives on country roads, on the motorway and at night.
- Day 11–13
Getting test ready
Test routes in Hilden, typical exam situations and a mock test. After that you know exactly what to expect.

Practical test
We coordinate the test date with you and the test centre. You can take the test only once you are ready and all requirements are met.
This schedule applies to licence B. Your application must be approved by the road traffic office before the course starts. We set the start date together.
Remedial course. If something happened during your probation.
The licensing authority orders a remedial course for new drivers (ASF) if you broke traffic rules during your probation period. The reason: the accident risk is highest in the first years. In the course you look at how the offence happened and how to do things differently in future. No lecturing.
When do you have to take the course?
Two minor offences
A single B offence has no consequences for your probation yet. The second one triggers the course. For example driving on worn tyres.
What happens next
- Your probation period is extended by two years, to four years in total.
- The authority sets a deadline. If you do not complete the course in time, you lose your licence.
- The course does not remove penalty points in Flensburg.
Alcohol or drugs?
During probation the limit is 0.0. If you break it, the authority orders a special remedial course run by a traffic psychologist. We tell you where you can take it.
How the course works with us
- Session 1, 135 minutesGetting to know each other in a small group. Everyone shares what happened.
- Test drive, 30 minutesYou drive, we observe. Then 15 minutes of feedback on where you are confident and where not.
- Sessions 2 to 4, 135 minutes eachSpotting hazards earlier, understanding your own behaviour, concrete resolutions for afterwards.
- CertificateAfter the last session you receive the certificate of attendance for the licensing authority.
The whole course takes two to four weeks. You cannot fail if you attend all sessions.
You can take the course with us even if you got your licence elsewhere. Get in touch as soon as the letter from the authority arrives.

Frequently asked questions.
How long does it take to get a licence?
Usually three to six months. It depends on how often you have time for theory and lessons. If you need it fast, ask us about the intensive course.
How many lessons do I need?
It differs for everyone. Besides the 12 special drives, many people need around 20 to 30 regular lessons. We tell you honestly when you are ready. Not earlier, not later.
I'm nervous about the exam. What now?
That is completely normal. We practise typical exam situations in Hilden and do a mock test beforehand. That way you know the procedure before it counts.
Can I switch from another driving school?
Yes. Bring your training records and we will look at where you stand and what is still missing.
Is the intensive course worth it for me?
An intensive course may suit you if you have a continuous block of time available. Around 14 days is a planning target. The actual duration depends on application approval, progress and available test appointments. Ask us about a suitable schedule.
I have to take a remedial course. What now?
Call us as soon as the letter from the licensing authority arrives, and keep an eye on the deadline. You can take the course with us even if you got your licence elsewhere.
I don't live in Hilden. Can I still sign up with you?
Yes. You can choose any driving school you like, no matter where you live. Besides Hilden, our area includes Langenfeld, Haan, Erkrath, Hochdahl, Mettmann, Solingen and south Düsseldorf with Benrath, Reisholz, Hassels, Wersten, Holthausen, Eller, Oberbilk and Vennhausen.
Which office do I apply to for my driving licence?
Always the driving licence office (Führerscheinstelle) where you live. If you live in Hilden, Langenfeld, Haan, Erkrath, Hochdahl or Mettmann, you apply to the road traffic office of the Mettmann district (Straßenverkehrsamt Kreis Mettmann). In Düsseldorf it is the road traffic office of the City of Düsseldorf, and in Solingen the driving licence office of the City of Solingen. We go through the documents with you when you sign up.
What do I need to sign up?
Your ID is enough to sign up with us. For the application at the road traffic office you will later need an eye test, a first aid course and a biometric passport photo. We go through it with you when you sign up.
